Bryand's
Pub
Bricks echo
the sounds of silence
like the moon and sun which aligns us
These imprints on the bathroom stall
stand so strong like an ancient wall
These thoughts we have late-at-night
til' morning comes full of truth tranquil light
My lies, my half-truths are sticking out
my sighs are hushed in a tiring bout
Swim to swim
like there's no tomorrow
pool to pool, follow
Cold summer rain
blessed sorrow down the drain
Night is closing down
daylight shall wear a frown
I must go now my imaginary friend
I have some business I must tend- to
I left her behind this ancient wall
behind the imprints on the bathroom stall
Which made me stop, and think to call, you
For behind every wall
is a man trying to stand tall
on a pirate's plank teetering
trying not to fall
Alas,
the moon it sets in places
I cannot reach
