Yellow Bellied Worm

Twisting your tongue
words form and spew out
in anger and humiliation, leaving
your victims downcast and withdrawn.

Hear the cruel and hateful remarks
you sputter to others
squelching their spirits and
damning their self-confidence.

Bittered faces frown
in motions of hate, expelled
in cold emotions
as you cause faces to redden, voices
to quiver and insecurities to manifest.

Rancid odors overwhelm as you explode
a can of bad worms, just to humiliate and
tarnish the minds of your employees.

Sit on your high throne
in your jeweled crown and choke
on the hatred you spill to your
intelligent court,
those who have entrusted
futures to you.

"Who do you think you are,
you insecure yellow bellied worm?"
